When you call전화할 때는

  • Stay calm and say where you are first: an address, a nearby building or a subway exit number.침착하게, 먼저 있는 곳을 말하세요. 주소, 근처 건물, 지하철 출구 번호 등.
  • Explain what happened and whether anyone is hurt.무슨 일이 일어났는지, 다친 사람이 있는지 설명하세요.
  • Give your phone number and don't hang up until they tell you to.전화번호를 알려 주고, 끊으라고 할 때까지 끊지 마세요.
  • If you don't speak Korean, say your language, for example "English, please." An interpreter can be connected.한국어가 어려우면 쓰는 언어를 말하세요. 예: "English, please." 통역을 연결해 줄 수 있습니다.
  • If you can't talk, you can send a text message to 112 or 119.말을 할 수 없는 상황이면 112나 119에 문자로 신고할 수 있습니다.

  • Save these numbers in your phone before your trip.여행 전에 휴대폰에 이 번호들을 저장해 두세요.
  • Emergency alerts about disasters or severe weather may appear on your phone. Follow their instructions.재난이나 기상 특보가 있으면 휴대폰으로 긴급 재난 문자가 옵니다. 안내에 따르세요.
  • Know the address of where you're staying, in Korean if possible.머무는 곳의 주소를 가능하면 한국어로 알아 두세요.
