About the KTXKTX란

  • The KTX is Korea's high-speed train. It links Seoul with major cities such as Busan, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju and Gangneung.KTX는 한국의 고속열차입니다. 서울과 부산, 대전, 대구, 광주, 강릉 같은 주요 도시를 잇습니다.
  • In Seoul, KTX trains leave mainly from Seoul Station and Yongsan Station. SRT high-speed trains, run by a separate company, leave from Suseo Station.서울에서는 주로 서울역과 용산역에서 출발합니다. 다른 회사가 운영하는 고속열차 SRT는 수서역에서 출발합니다.
  • From Incheon Airport, take the airport railroad to Seoul Station and change to the KTX there.인천공항에서는 공항철도를 타고 서울역에 가서 KTX로 갈아타세요.

Buying a ticket표 사기

  • Book on the official railway website or app, which are available in English, or at ticket counters and machines in the station.철도 공식 홈페이지나 앱(영어 지원), 또는 역의 매표소와 자동 발매기에서 예매할 수 있습니다.
  • Popular trains sell out early on weekends and holidays, so book in advance.주말과 명절에는 인기 열차가 일찍 매진되니 미리 예매하세요.
  • Foreign visitors can buy a rail pass for unlimited rides during a set period.외국인 여행객은 정해진 기간 동안 마음껏 탈 수 있는 철도 패스를 살 수 있습니다.
  • Your ticket shows the train number, departure time, car number and seat number.승차권에는 열차 번호, 출발 시간, 호차 번호, 좌석 번호가 적혀 있습니다.

Boarding타는 방법

  • Arrive at the station early and check the departure board for your train number and platform.역에 일찍 도착해서 출발 안내판에서 열차 번호와 타는 곳을 확인하세요.
  • Most stations have no ticket gates. Your ticket is checked on board.대부분의 역에는 개찰구가 없습니다. 승차권은 열차 안에서 확인합니다.
  • Find your car number on the platform floor or the sign by the door, then get on.승강장 바닥이나 출입문 옆 표시에서 호차 번호를 찾아 타세요.
  • Trains leave right on time, and the doors close shortly before departure.열차는 정시에 출발하고, 출발 직전에 문이 닫힙니다.

On the train열차 안에서

  • Put large bags on the racks at the end of the car or above your seat.큰 가방은 객실 끝의 짐칸이나 좌석 위 선반에 두세요.
  • There are standard and first-class cars, and some trains also have standing or unreserved seats.일반실과 특실이 있고, 열차에 따라 입석이나 자유석도 있습니다.
  • Keep your voice down and take phone calls in the area between cars.조용히 이야기하고, 통화는 객실 사이 통로에서 하세요.
  • Your station is announced in Korean and English and shown on the screens.내릴 역은 한국어와 영어로 방송되고 화면에도 나옵니다.

Changes and refunds변경과 환불

  • You can change or cancel your ticket in the app or at the station.승차권은 앱이나 역에서 바꾸거나 취소할 수 있습니다.
  • Fees depend on how close it is to departure, so change your plans as early as possible.수수료는 출발 시간이 가까울수록 커지니, 일정이 바뀌면 되도록 빨리 바꾸세요.
  • If you miss your train, go to the ticket counter right away.열차를 놓쳤다면 바로 매표소로 가세요.
